Inglewood Unified School District is seeking three qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee of community leaders which will serve as the independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee (“COC”) for the implementation of the District’s Measure GG school facilities bond program. The three seats that are available are:

       Business Representative – Active in a business organization representing local business  

       Community At-Large

       Taxpayer Organization Member

On November 6, 2012, voters residing within the Inglewood Unified School District passed Measure GG. Measure GG is a $90 million bond measure that authorizes funding for needed repairs, upgrades and new construction projects to the District’s schools.  Proposition 39 required a 55% supermajority for approval; Measure GG was passed by 88.1%
